Overview of Hostel
Snuffel is a refurbished youth hostel with a capacity of 120 beds. The bar and its outside terrace are considered a meeting point for (mainly young) travelers and locals.
Snuffel is a socially engaged touristic project. Thanks to its diverse offer, it lowers travel barriers for young wanderers. S
The best option to come to Bruges would be by public transport.
From the station on, you can take buses number 4, 13 or 14. Get off at the 5th bus stop, called “De Snuffel”. You'll now find yoursef in Ezelstraat. Cross the street and walk towards nr. 42.
After 8 pm, however, there's only one bus an hour. Take line 90. Get off at the 4th bus stop, called “Stadschouwburg”. It’s another 3 min walk to the hostel. Take “Vlamingstraat” (away from the Market Square), cross a bridge, go left into “Pottemakersstraat”. Take the street on the right and walk up Ezelstraat to nr. 42.
You want to save some money? You can go by foot to Snuffel. It’s about a 30 minutes walk You’ll find a big city map, outside the train station and across from the bus stop area.
TIP: If you go to the tourist info ask for a free Use It Map.
If you come by car, it’s easiest to park at the train station. Your parking ticket costs € 3,5 for 24h and includes a bus ticket. An alternative is the free Park&Ride at Bevrijdingslaan (between the Jan Breydellaan and the Peter Benoitlaan). From there it’s about 1km. to our hostel..
Our hostel is centrally located in the old part of Bruges, 500 metres from the Market Square, the Belfry of Bruges and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.

Snuffel Hostel Policies and Conditions: Cancellation policy: 24hours before arrival. This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival. Check in from 14:00 to 22:00. Please contact us if you are delayed! Check out before 10:00. Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards. Taxes not included - occupancy tax 2.12 EUR per person per night. Breakfast included. General: No curfew. Reception is open form 08:00 to 23:00.
